History

Bath Concepts & Supplies was originally established in 1992 by Jimmy Cayton and Kelly Jones. It operated primarily as an upper-end showroom, catering to the builders for whom they installed plumbing equipment.

Growth

In 1996, Scott and Lisa Smith took a leap of faith when they purchased the business and assumed ownership. The entrepreneurial couple wasted no time expanding their new investment. After obtaining a wholesale license, construction of a warehouse behind the showroom began within just a few months.

Achievement

The pair's hard work and dedication proved to be successful. In 1999, Inc. magazine recognized Bath Concepts & Supplies as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America ^[source]. Despite the tremendous increase in size, their commitment to superior customer service and community participation have always remained top priorities.

Present

Scott and Lisa attribute the business's success to their direct involvement in the day-to-day operations; therefore, they still perform many of the same roles today as when they first started. Scott manages contractor sales and purchasing while Lisa handles showroom sales, accounting, and credit management.
